Vision
Sonargaon University focuses on academic excellence in higher education and research. To be a center of excellence for higher education, research, and development in the fields of Arts & Humanities, Business, Science, and Engineering. The Vision of the Library and Information Division (LID) is to become a reputable leading research library in the country. To meet the demands of a modern library, it is accumulating necessary hard copies and electronic materials.
The Library is expected to support the mission through its collections and services, and it has also a significant amount of subscribed electronic resources like the University Digital Library (UDL) of UGC and a member of Research4Life, which is the collective name for five programs – HINARI, AGORA, OARE, ARDI, and GOALI – that provides developing countries with free or low-cost access to academic and professional peer-reviewed online content access more than 100,000 leading journals and books in the fields of health, agriculture, environment, applied sciences and legal information.
